The #fridayflash Report – Week 31

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, or other terrific holiday celebration of your choosing. It’s been an eventful couple of weeks here, but the #fridayflash just keeps on rolling. This week we are down a bit in participation, but that is to be expected considering the hubbub of all the holiday activity. Still, we have 44 stories in all, with two new debut authors. Please welcome J. C. Towler and Richard Gardner to the ranks of #fridayflash. I know both of these guys from my time over on Editor Unleashed and both are very classy fellows.

If you had a story this week and it does not appear in the listing below please visit the Collector and add your details. Once it shows up there I’ll add it to the report. The Collector will remain open through Wednesday, but as always, the earlier the better.

Don’t forget to submit your best three stories of 2009 for consideration in the Best of 2009 #fridayflash Anthology. The deadline for that is 11:59pm Thursday. Next Friday ushers in the New Year, and a whole new year of terrific flash fiction. Keep on writing, and all the blessings of the season to all of you.

Thanks Jon! We are still on hols down at the very bottom of Tasmania, which is the island at the bottom of Australia – my mum has a remote wireless connection on her laptop :)
