We had another good week for #fridayflash. There were 70 stories over all, with three new debut authors. Please welcome Meg Wingo, Christopher Rivan, and Valerie Valdes to the fold. If you posted a #fridayflash and it does not appear in the listing below just go to the Collector, add your details, and I’ll add it to the list.
I should be able to keep up a little better now. My wife has returned home after a long illness, which relieves a lot of stress and frees up a lot of time for me. Those of you who have stories pending for the Best of 2009 FridayFlash Anthology may be wondering just what the hold up is. Well, hospital time took its toll. At long last things are pretty much back to normal here. I should be able to get cracking on the final edits and compilation of the anthology. I will also have more time to read and comment on more stories each week, which I’ve been really bad at since late November.
It feels great to be back in full swing. ~jon

Jon, I’m so glad your wife is home and feeling better. I sympathize with what you’ve gone through, and hope her health will continue to improve.
Carol
Thank you, Carol. It’s been a long hard winter, but spring is here and things are starting to look up. It feels really good to have her around the house again.

Jon, I’m so glad your wife is felling better and is back home. I hope spring bring more good things your way.
Thanks, Laurita. We’re both looking forward to a good spring season.

I’m so glad that things are looking up for you and Cyndi!
Thanks. I even had a story pop into my head today while walking the dog. (Beagles are great muses, by the way.) I think the world will have a much better outlook for all concerned.
~jon
Glad the wife is home, Jon. Good luck to both of you and I hope her recovery is swift.
Thank you, Chris. Much appreciated.

That is good news Jon! I’m so glad. Hospitals are not known for comfort or rest, but for horrible chairs for what some could call sleeping and endless weird noises, beeping and squeaking shoes and worried faces.
There is a lot to be said about normalcy and the regular kind of day.
